Help this single father of 9 children create a community that helps people from all walks of life and give his children safety and security after he passes, having had a recent heart attack and several related episodes. He has been talking about making a dream come true for his children and others before he dies.
The vision is a community of people from all walks of life in the form of 150-200 acres in AL, KY, or NC including a large lake with accessable to all cabin and tent based campground with all amenities at a tiny fraction of the cost available anywhere else. The idea is building a community that works together to flourish in all ways, and involves everyone that wishes to be a part of it. Hunting, fishing, camping, cabin living, farming, atvs, utvs, dirtbikes, hiking, exploring, learning self sufficiency are but a few of the ideas in this vision.
The prospective land would be 90% off the grid, utilizing both solar and hydro power. As well as onsite wells and septic treatment facilities. Also, it is expected that all prospective land has hiking, biking, ATV trails, existing streams, river or a lake in which would be sectioned off as shared property.

I've only known William a little over a year. I was introduced to him through my boyfriend Brandon who met william at our apartment complex. He would always tell me how it's a joy to talk with him and his friends.
However, in the beginning of 2020 as Covid-19 approached, we went through a rough period. I had to deal with not being able to work in the restaurant industry due to closures and Brandon was having difficulties obtaining work many people being afraid to be around others.
Our household income was reduced significantly. So, with Brandon being the only one working periodically, we simply couldn't afford to rent a full house anymore. We were on the verge of becoming homeless. However, once William found out about our situation, he asked us if he and I would like to move in with him and his family so we can have more stability while we figure things out. Perfect, I figured since we already knew William and trusted him, maybe we could save up some money.
During our stay in William's home we had the pleasure of meeting 5 of his 9 children. All of which are awesome in their own right. Lucas is a comedian, Thomas is very outspoken, and Ian is more science oriented. There were some moments that were not so pleasant in the time since meeting Will, such as an unfortunate incident when William suffered a heart attack. However, I was privy to it as well as most of his family when this occurred and as far as I was concerned, William basically is someone I consider family.
William survived but, ever since that incident occurred, has been depressed. He has been talking about making a dream come true for his children before he dies. Making sure he leaves all of his children with peace of mind and something to fall back on at all times. William is a single father and I was also raised in a single parent household. So, I understand the complications of raising his children alone. Therefore, I was very curious as to what this dream might be. He described this wonderful place in which his family and others would have a large piece of land that's off grid. This land would be 150 - 200+ acres in either Kentucky, Alabama or Tennessee. In which each child would get their own house built from scratch utilizing the natural resources on the land, such as hardwood and softwood trees. Where ponds, rivers, streams, natural water springs and lakes reside.
The prospective land would be 90% off the grid, utilizing both solar and hydro power. As well as onsite wells and septic treatment facilities. Each childs parcel would be deeded directly to them on purchase to alleviate any undue inheritance issues. Also, it is expected that all prospective land has hiking, biking, ATV trails, existing streams, river or a lake in which would be sectioned off as shared property.
Also, William vocalized that this land usage would not only be for his family but also for a campground, archery, range, ATV trails, Hiking, etc. Which will be available to all year-round. On all prospective parcels, there is an abundance of wildlife (deer, boar and wild turkey) including lakes and/or streams in which are stocked with fish (bass, catfish and trout). This allows for year-round hunting and fishing if desired, while adhering to proper conservation levels.
Proceeds will also be used to purchase necessary items such as saws, sawmill, tractor, supplies and materials, etc. needed for building the homes.
William came to our aid when we needed it most. I believe there are people who still exist such as William , who assist individuals that are in need. These people are indeed a gift from God. Anything I can do to aid William is a blessing. Let's make Williams' dream come true, thank you.
